Eco style layered card with chipboards

Flourish

Very often, when I start a project, I simply can't predict where it will take me. My must elements in this card were wood embellishments and hand made flowers. White roses are cut of a water colour paper, painted with acrylic paint on the edges. Some of the wood embellishments were embossed with white powder. Almost all flowers received a touch of Gesso - that makes them alive.

Card's base is a white card stock, layered with pale pink. Next layer is set upon 3d foam pads to create a dimension, where punch was applied. All edges distressed and slightly torn. A book page found its way as well, topped by a left-over paper with roses. The rest - is a play of imagination.

Colour palette

Spring has finally arrived and it inspires my creations. The card's main colour palette is in soft, pastel colours. However, I added splashes of brighter colours to bring the vibrance and happiness to the eye.

Fake it until you make it

I have a confession: I am in love with a new calligraphy trend in scrapbooking world.
But ... I have another confession: I have not mastered it... yet :-)
Therefore Freebies are my best friends. For this card I used a font Playlist, which looks exactly as a thick water colour brush. There are many goodies out there in the digital world. Please pay attention to, some are not for commercial use.

Thank you for stopping by, wish you a lovely day ahead!
