It is finally weekend! As I am working from home these days, and home-schooling, and trying to stay sane.... weekend is my time, where my husband steps in. There have been many online gatherings, I could not participate in. However, they inspired me to find time for crafting.
I will present two cards. I found a beautiful sheet by @13Arts. If cut right, it is actually just enough for 2 cards! The base of my card is simple white A4 cardstock. The center piece is a window chipboard by Wycinanka. There are two pieces in one set - so again, it is easier to make two cards at once.
Flowers are purple foam, cut with LadyE poppy die and slightly distressed on the edges by Tim Holtz blue ink. I find these flowers easiest to work with. Leaves are also by LadyE, cut from some left overs of the same @13Arts design paper sheet and tiny extra. I distressed all leaves by purple and green ink to keep them in the same colour palette.
As a finishing touch, I applied white gesso with a kitchen sponge on flowers and leaves.
I think the cards turned out as a fresh breeze of spring, so much needed these days.
Thank you for stepping by, wish you a great day ahead!
