Baby Boy album with shaker
I am not sure, whether the latest news about Prince Henrik of Denmark passing away, or similar, but something has definitely impacted my little girl's observations and view of a life cycle.
On the way to school, we always listen to the radio in the car. Katy Perry was on, cheering us up.
- Mom, is she dead yet? - my 6 year old daughter asked.
- No, she is quite young, sweety, and she is alive. Why would you ask?
- Oh, good, then I would really like her autograph!
Bunny
Instead of chasing die cuts, I decided to try digital media. I fell in love with the beautiful water colour bunnies in boho style. Huge advantage of the digital graphics is, that you get to choose the scale.
Even though the collection is Easter inspired, I selected some images, which I thought would go with a baby boy album in blueish colours. I printed them on a thick paper and spent the whole evening cutting them out, which was absolutely worth it, though, as the elements are divine.

Soft cover with a shaker
Bunny in the air balloon was absolutely my favourite and deserved to become a center piece of the album. I stitched the lines of the balloon and framed it into a white shaker with blue sequins. Some doilies, roses, cabochon, leaves die cuts, lace and ribbon - soft cover is hereby embellished.

The album contains 5 inserted cardstocks, which gives 6 double-sided spreads, or 12 individual pages. Distance between the pages is 1 cm this time, in order to allow for puffy embellishments and photos in the pockets. Album's size is 17x18 cm.

I chose ribbon again for the closure of the album. Ribbon is hidden behind a tiny bunny in a balloon, smaller scale now, than the one on the front. Remember the beauty of the digital media?

The album is slightly bigger than the square envelops, however is designed for 10x15 photos. Each page has a flap with a hidden envelope for additional photos. The main photo can slide into the front pocket.
Base of the album is made of brown cardstock (kvistkarton) and white watercolour paper for the embellishments. I added sequins to each page, and different ribbons to tie the elements together. For all pages, I used North Spring patterned paper pad, mix and match 24 different sheets.

Close up
Now, fasten the seat belts, many pictures ahead of each page individually.
