DIY ToDO list - clipboard

New Year started for me with a specific resolution - make a ToDO board for my daughter. I was thinking, maybe an interactive way of following up on her chores would actually work.

Magnetic clipboard

I purchased a simple clipboard from Søstrene Grene and covered it with a design paper by Fabrika Decoru, Tender Orchid collection. I cut roughly a piece of a magnetic paper for the middle.

The rest of the process is rather simple. In the corners, to create an equal weight distribution, there are fuzzy cut embellishments from Majestic Iris paper collection by Fabrika Decoru, and different leaves die cuts, a touch of sisal and silver charms.

I added silver glitter paste randomly, as well as silver micro beards onto a medium gel. It is brilliant - no need to be careful, when the gel is dry, is becomes completely transparent.

The tasks themselves are printed and cut onto a black cardstock. There are small pieces of magnetic paper on the back, thus they are easy to stick and interchange on the clipboard.

Working week days are symbolised by capital letters at the bottom. There are paper clips for each task and for each of the days.

A beautiful rose flower silver charm is hiding behind the iris.

I placed two thick stripes of magnetic paper onto the clipboard in order for it to stick to the refrigerator, where it rightfully belongs :-)

Hope, the idea is clear from a short video below.  For each task completed, a bracket on the clip is flipped over.

P.S. My daughter is absolutely ecstatic about this clipboard and can't wait to flip yet another one.

Thank you for passing by, have a great day ahead!
