Mintay papers - altered box
Mintay is one of my absolute favourite paper collections. Do you know the feeling? You just look at the beautiful paper and do not dare to cut it. If you do, you think already how to use every inch of this beauty?
During Xmas we receive lots of boxes at work from our suppliers. My colleagues already know, where to deliver them, after chocolate has been eaten - correct, my table. This beautiful wooden box was just waiting for its prime time!
The box is with a lid, giving endless possibilities: storage of photos, gift card, money gift.

I decorated the top of the lid with papers from Mintay "Dear diary" collection. Edges are
embossed with a black sparkle powder. The composition is built on a doily and a fussy cut bird element. Paper leaves are different die brands of rose leaves, distressed with up to 6 different colours to hit the similar tone of the paper collection.

Roses are handmade of silk clay. I added dry flowers, as well as a little feather and an egg to go together with the bird theme.
As the last touch, I splashed dark purple ink and added sequins and enamel dots.

Inside, the box is decorated with the same sheets of paper, as on the lid.

Thank you for stepping by, wish you a great day ahead!
