Good time fo the day!
I would like to share the cute baby boy album made in subtle scandinavian style.
This album has 6 pages. I wanted to include an extra page for the sweet baby scan photos, as well as the last page for some other treasured moments. Rest of the pages will follow the little one up to a year, one page per month.
I did not count, but the album should fit more than 50-70 photos of 10x15 cm. Space between the pages is therefore 7 mm. This album is done with minimum embellishments, as it should just be functional and contain as many photos as possible.
Most of the paper collection comes from Fabrika Decoru - Scandi Baby Boy. However, I got surprised, how much paper the album actually consumes. As a result, I had to borrow from other collections and design sheets, that matched the overall colour palette. Here I could mention Tender Orchid, My Tiny Sparrow Boy. The beauty of having one paper brand - you can mix and match.
The first page has a functional vellum pocket and an envelope. Album opens up with a play - small rotating circles with cute baby feet on one side and animal stickers on the other.
The flap on a twine is holding a solid construction, also with a hidden pockets and a small card for notes. For the notes I used life journal cards - brilliant application.
I will not comment on each page, however mention a great designer work from Søstrene Grene. Their Sticker Book with animal collection goes hand in hand with the subtle Scandinavian style, I was trying to create.
Here, I did dare to make a waterfall construction. I tried to make it solid, so that it could handle small curious hands as well.
Here is the only pocket, I prepared for the Insta format.
The last spread has an envelope and a couple of note cards. In the envelope, I enclosed extra stickers and dies cuts.
I mentioned Netto and Søstrene Grene in the tags. Yeps - they are all here. I love the hidden gems you can find in these stores.
Baby boy album videoAnd here I will try not to mention how frustrated and sad I was….
There is simply no sun in Denmark, at least during the weekends, when I can have the time to make videos.
I was waiting for the very last hour, before the album had to be handed in, for the sun to come. It did not disappoint the forecasts - grey weather as usual.
I had to re-arrange the whole setup, and film under my desk lamp :-( The quality is not the best, but at least it is possible to get the overall idea, how the album looks like.
Thank you for stepping by, wish you a great day ahead!
I would like to enter this album for Fabrika Decoru's February Gallery
